The entire experience with ARF was first class all the way through. They contacted all my references and required pictures, inside and out, of my home. They wanted to make sure the dog I adopted would be in good hands. Ellie was everything I wanted and more. ARF had wonderful volunteers fostering Ellie. They made me promise that if something were to happen and I could not keep Ellie, that I would return her to them. Knowing how committed they were to the dogs well-being, I will absolutely do so but only if I must. Price is not even relevant for me. They paid the vet bills had the dogs spayed and provided me with some dog items when I picked her up

When we first applied online, the adoption fee listed was $225. There was no price listed for the specific puppy we were interested in on Petfinder, the ARF Petfinder profile, or their Instagram page, even though most of the other animals did have prices listed. However, before meeting the puppy, we were told the adoption fee would actually be $350. We were told the higher price was due to the puppy being a popular breed, but there were no certified papers or registration confirming that the dog is actually that breed. That made the price confusing to us. We also know that places like Spay Oklahoma offer very affordable services (around $50 for spay/neuter and only a small additional cost for vaccinations and microchipping), which made it harder for us to understand why the adoption fee wa

Adopted our beautiful kitty from ARF. They were very helpful and friendly. Spay and neuter was taken care of by them. They also do chipping and vaccinations and make sure you have all the paperwork needed. So happy to have the best cat in the world for ourselves. Thanks ARF for introducing us.

This was a fun stop for my friend and I as we searched for a specific dog breed. The facility is on the west side of LaFortune Park off Yale Ave. From the street, the only identification you are at the correct location is a sign of an animal paw on the upper left of the building. It's a small facility with a limited number of animals, however, they have information about other locations one may also visit. The volunteers were friendly and courteous. During our visit, they were walking, exercising and playing with several animals. The animals seemed happy, playful and ready to find their forever homes!

We got our sweet Lola girl (aka Augusta) from ARF, and she is a wonderful dog. She was well fostered while at ARF and was healthy and happy when we got her. She has been a wonderful addition to our family.
