Arab Animal Shelter

I would give 0 stars if I could. Let our kids adopt a dog that had tested positive for heart worms and didn’t even tell them. They found out from the vet that spayed her that she had tested positive before she was even adopted. Now the kids are burdened with the cost of having her treated because the shelter didn’t. Also told them she’d been at the shelter a really long time, one of the longest they’d had. After looking on Facebook we find out they picked her up in May, 1 month ago. The kids are attached to her and we will make sure she is treated and taken care of but the people responsible should be ashamed of themselves and ashamed to say they “help” animals.

The worst possible shelter you could adopt from. Adopted a dog here two weeks ago and we were assured she was healthy and nothing wrong with her. Fast forward to this week and we have been informed that she has had severe heart worms the entire time and the shelter lied about it. We are 17 year olds and this has been the worst possible experience we could’ve imagined. Would never recommend this place again!!

I hate the post bad reviews specially on a place that helps animals. I wanted to add a new addition to my house I recently lost my best friend from old age. So the best way to get over a dog's death to get a new dog. I wanted a pit breed style dog they make good pets. I work for God and I run God's way Tower. Today I'm working alone. So I get a call from them because I pick out a dog. Told her I had to make a fence for my chickens. So she starts off with a bad attude. Now I'm a pastor I'm not going to take this and I ask her to watch her p&q with me. Then she accuses me twice for not picking up the dog why I'm sticking in the fence for the dog. So she got me mad and I told her to keep the dog and hung up on her. Second note while inside riding out the paperwork she even talked about anothe

No one at the shelter during open hours today while my husband missed work, not responding to voicemails/ messages. Am going to follow up for neglect if I don’t hear back

COMPLETELY REDONE! Giving animals the chance they need! Aubrey and Ofc. Whisenant along with volunteers are making things amazing! Please visit the website thats all new.
