APA Brentwood

Had a wonderful experience at APA Brentwood! They made the adoption process so smooth and easy. You can really tell all the employees/volunteers care about these animals, and celebrate all the furry lives they send to forever homes. Adoption fees were very reasonable, they charge just enough to keep the doors open.

We took one of the shelter dogs, Parrot, on a doggy date. The staff were all kind and were knowledgeable on what would be the best fit for our adventure. You can tell the animals here are well cared for. It’s great they let the community get the opportunity to interact with the dogs on a more personal level, while also offering the dogs some time to stretch their legs. I’m a bit frightened of dogs, but this experience definitely worked as a bit of exposure therapy. Parrot was such a sweetheart!

While APA has been fantastic in helping me bring a lot of kittens in from the field. Now, I do have my own thing nonprofits, cat organization, so I have to bring a lot of kittens and cats in so I have more restrictions than others. But they have been extremely helpful even with a couple of our kitties that were a little bit testy. Staff is fantastic. Service is great. My appointments are always on time. And there's very good communication with intake. Department and absolutely love lauren. She loves the animals and it is very obvious.

We had a put our shitzu to sleep a couple of weeks ago she was a rescue 15 years old and we went to Brentwood APA Rescue and found a GSD 9 years old and bought him home 🏡 to share some love with Jasper

I can’t thank the APA enough for all that they do! I have had the pleasure of adopting my two cats and puppy from them. My first kitty was a breeze, my second kitty, I was nervous. It was during covid when we couldn’t visit but the wonderful lady I spoke with made it all positive and comforting. We discussed the behavior of the kitty in my home and what I was looking for in a new addition. She helped me pick the perfect kitten that fit in with the family perfectly! I am still so great full for all of her help. My puppy adopting experience was also fabulous. They let us spend time with the each one we were interested in that was able to go in a visiting room and never made us feel rushed or that we were a bother.
