Anthracite Boarding & Groom

This place cannot communicate with people at all. Few days before my vacation, they told me my dogs need a flu shot to be boarded. Paid $84 and got it the same day. The day before my vacation they tell me my dogs also needed a two-week booster shot. They made no mention of a booster shot in the initial call. Thanks for screwing me over! I understand you are following state-law, but for the love of god, COMMUNICATE! The apology I received was given by a woman seemingly falling asleep at her desk. Dog owners, go anywhere else.

They were great with me and my dog. They returned my calls promptly, on short notice when my pick up date changed I was accommodated and I picked up my pup clean, happy and healthy,

Was rude to my mother and would not book an appointment for her dog to be groomed because my mother just moved to the area and was"New." She was hoping to make Anthracite her Vet and Groomer but apparently since she just moved here her business is not wanted.

Have boarded my dogs here many times while I went away on vacation. They are top notch and I will continue to use them.
