I absolutely love this practice. It is in an older building, but clean, well appointed, and with a stellar staff. My rescue kitten feels VERY comfortable with everyone, and Dr. Flake is quite thorough in her exams. In my 65 years, I have dealt with terrible vets and amazing vets enough to know the difference. This is a place of excellent veterinary caring.ñ

Never take your babies to this place when you are truly sick. This sweet baby lost his life to their negligence. When I call stating that the antibiotic was NOT working. They wanted to restart the same antibiotic. Called again, begging them to please help my Felix, still nothing. Took him to an emergency vet, he had Pneumonia which caused his Larynx to swell. After 24hrs of treatment, it was too late. I had been put in situation cause of this office to think about Felix’s quality of life. Felix would have been on the road to recovery if this doctor prescribed the right medication when they knew he was having trouble breathing. My Felix is flying high. I was put in a situation where I had no control to help this sweet baby. His life mattered, his life mattered enough to been given the righ

If you don’t make $$$, don’t go here. The prices for getting your fur baby the help they may need are OUTRAGEOUS. My black lab was in the other day, practically on his death bed. He hadn’t eaten or drank for 3 days, was vomiting it all up. We came here 4 TIMES PRIOR and left everytime with basic medication, no straight diagnoses, but yet a $500+ bill. The day before he passed we brought him in to see if there was anything we could do and get some x-rays to see if there was a blockage. Dr. Flake was in the room for 10 minutes tops, just to tell us that she didn’t know what she was seeing and to send images off which costed ~ $280, also that nothing would show up without an ultrasound. Why not mention this before billing us, knowing we were looking for blockages in his lower half? She also

The Doctor and her staff are very caring and kind to our animals. We've been there several times and they have great insights and help for care for both our dog and cats. I would definitely recommend them for anyone else looking for a vet!

On a Sunday morning, our dog got a very painful back injury, we had to take her to a emergency vet clinic. At the clinic they did a quick exam and needed to get xrays in order to confirm the back injury problem. They couldn't get the xrays because they said the dog went crazy when they tried to put her on the xray table. So, they sent us home with pain meds and told us to contact a vet locally. We called three vets to find one that would take her in when we called. On the 3rd call which was Animal Wellness Clinic, they told us to bring her in immediately. We arrived, no wait and went back to a treatment room. The Vet, Dr. Flake and her whole staff were so friendly and courteous. They treated our dog as if it was there own dog. A very thorough exam, and they did get 3 xray picture
