Animal Wellness Center

They have always been amazing!! I appreciate them more than I can express. My furbabies are my children and it’s nerve wracking trusting anyone with them. So thankful to be able to trust them with the most important things in my life.

The Staff at the Animal Wellness Center are absolutely the best. We are new to the area and hadn’t established our vet care for our dogs yet, as they have all been healthy and are utd on their vaccinations. Our Louna June, our Belgian Tervuren became ill Monday evening. And, because of the flooding our road is bad and we had no phone service to call anyone. So, we stayed up with her all night and and at 8am we carried her out to our car and started out to Pikeville with Lou, we didn’t know if any vets were open or if she could even be seen. We got to the top of Mouthcard and got cell service, we called the Animal Wellness Center and asked if they could see our girl, they asked how far away we were and at that point we were a half hour away, our call dropped and we continued on. I love them! My pitbull, Amenadiel loves them too! They were so kind and told him he was good and treated him so kindly. They helped him so much with his pain and I can’t thank them enough!

They were absolutely amazing. They helped our dog Athena when she became very sick after giving birth to a large litter of puppies. She needed to have surgery. They walked us through the entire process and gave a break down of how it was going to cost for each part. Sam was fantastic to our dog. Her and the doctor kept us informed during our dogs stay the entire time with phone call updates. I was always afraid of vets and the cost, but when our dog was suffering so much I had to look for help. So many vets around were closed for the weekend and they wouldn't answer our emergency calls. The animal wellness center was the only one that actually made an effort to get in touch with us as soon as possible. My family is so appreciative of how much they helped us. Fantastic caring team! This world needs more people such as the Animal Wellness Center. I must point out that Maggie, my German Shepard was almost blind but Doctor Anderson and staff treated her with state-of-the-art medications, and her vision is 100% restored. Her eyes appeared as white clouds and she could only see what was immediately in front of her and fading fast. Dr Anderson and the team restored her vision back to 100%.
