Animal Urgent Care of Hernando County

The staff is compassionate, caring and understanding. We brought our Tucker in knowing that this was his last trip, due to a heart murmur and history of blood clots. When we spoke on the phone they insured me that his journey would be surrounded with those who loved him the most. He was made comfortable immediately upon entering the building. We were given as much time as we needed to say goodbye. We are so very grateful to you all. Rest in peace Tuck Tuck we miss you everyday.

The staff here was very knowledgeable and kind. We had 2 nurses help us and then the veterinarian herself. They were very quick to get us in and check out our dog and then to administer treatment. Less than an hour from start to finish. Their prices were hardly any higher than our regular past two vets. I really can’t express how awesome the team was. They were extremely compassionate and were wonderful with our dog. I highly recommend this place.

I had a great experience at Animal Urgent Care of Hernando County! Unfortunately, my 7-month-old puppy developed an eye issue late Saturday night, but they were able to fit us in for an appointment. The entire team—from the technician to the veterinarian—was awesome. I believe we saw Dr. Boyle, and she went above and beyond to care for my pup. The price was very reasonable. I highly recommend them if you’re in need of urgent medical care for your dog or cat!

Amazing experience from start to finish. We brought our dog, Daisy, in for a rash and scratches, and the team truly went above and beyond to make sure she was taken care of. They were thorough, kind, and even provided services they don’t typically offer just to ensure her health. You can tell they genuinely care about the animals they treat. Highly recommend.

Took my puppy who originally had a outer ear infection in with vertigo which is the samething that happenes to humans with inner ear infections. Stated that I think the puppy was having a bad reaction to the ear drops due the vertigo happening 45 mins after. So I take the puppy in they cant check her ears cause there are still ointment in them and then basically was told it could be a liver shunt or all these crazy things. Then they stated maybe she ate something she shouldnt have. Meanwhile common sense would dictate okay ear infection drops 45 mins later bad reaction. Drops go in ears which is right outside the brain. Possible system response. Instead the doctor wanted to suggest anything but a bad reaction to the meds or the outter ear infection turning into a inner ear infection or sim
