Animal Shelter-Wabash County

We've been looking for a smaller sized dog for over a year. We were so happy to find not one, but two! They came in as a pair and obviously were attached to each other so we decided to re-home both. We were thankful for the staff who assisted us. Even though they were short staffed, they were patient, answered all our questions and even stayed after closing hours to get our adoption completed. Their love for their jobs and for the animals at their shelter was evident. I would highly recommend this shelter!!

They were so wonderful with giving me information on how I old adopt out my dog and still keep him at home while in this process.

I want to apologize for the first review I posted I reacted before getting the facts.please accept my apologies and I would also like to write how the Wabash animal shelter was so kind to help me out w my son's dogs . They went above and beyond to help me out and sis it quickly. Thank you , Wabash Animal Shelter!

His name is "Luthor", he is a treeing hound, very entertaining and playful. ...Great people who work and volunteer at this shelter, so please always adopt at a shelter, never buy a pet from a breeder, or pet store.
