This rating is regarding the application process.. I submitted an application for Gabby the cat, who appears to have been at ARF for 5+ years based on their social media. Never heard a thing. Even followed up! It’s been a month without so much as a denial. We obviously moved on. May be some truth to the reviews suggesting they keep “lifers”.
I adopted a kitten from there - the volunteers were great and I have recommended a few friends there. They are also loving their new pets. There are a lot more great animals there, if you are looking for a pet you should check there first!
This is where I got Ryland. He recently passed. He was literally the best cat I have ever had.
Such an amazing place! I instantly fell in love with a fluffy loving cat and now he has a safe and loving family that he keeps entertained with his shenanigans.
cages CB keeps the ones she is attached to as what she calls "lifers" ripping their applications down the middle. She did this for 18 years with Ben who was the cat I wanted, and got away with it. many stories like that on yelp
