11/5/25 We were traveling in an 18 wheeler when our Sheepadoodle suddenly began bleeding profusely from a broken toe nail. We called AMCS and even though they were booked for the day, they told us to come on in and they would take care of him. When my wife and dog walked in the front door, there was literally someone standing there waiting on our arrival. Woody was taken back immediately and the Vet was so thoughtful, caring and knowledgeable as she explained what she was going to do. She had him all fixed up in a very short time and at a very reasonable price!! We are so thankful for these kind and caring folks!

I will never take my fur babies anywhere else with the quality and high standards Animal Medical Center of Somerset. I have never had a bad experience. My cats, Versace and Vuitton, have high anxiety with trips but they do well and feel safe here. Im beyond happy, and trust the staff fully with my babies.

Dr. Svonacec is perfect for reactive/agressive dogs. Knows how to and how not to act to put the dog at ease! Everyone at the office was helpful, from scheduling to minimize other dog interaction, to letting you in through a back door to avoid conflicts, to working to format invoices to ensure insurance coverage. The whole experience was wonderful! Been a customer for decades. Their professionalism and accommodating nature is why I keep coming back.

Dr. Vince is a natural friend of animals. My dogs and cats love him. He is the best.

Rosie was treated with tender love and care and I was treated like a human being. Dr. Svonavec explained everything thoroughly. I am glad I drove an hour to get here. It was worth the drive.
