Animal Medical Center of Richardson

I could not recommend AMCR more! They are great with my dog, a rescue who has some reactive behaviors from her past. Dr. Cole is her favorite but we love all the vets and techs here. I moved out of Richardson a few years ago (still DFW) and refuse to give them up, so I make the trek for my dog’s appointments every time.

AMCR cared for my cat, Toulouse, up until it was his time to pass on. Toulouse had a multitude of medical issues that AMCR diagnosed and treated with care. The entire staff is great! I have to give extra praise to Dr. Cole and Dakota the tech, who both loved Toulouse just as much as I did. They consistently worked with me to figure out the best care plan for Toulouse and went above and beyond to bring comfort to both him and I. For the situations that I had to leave Toulouse at AMCR overnight I knew he was receiving the best care possible. When it came to end of life care, I could not have asked for a more compassionate and kind person to perform the procedure than Dr. Cole. AMCR will always have a place in my heart and I recommend them to all pet parents!!

Vets are so expensive all over, but this one is over the top with their greediness! Now they will only fill prescriptions in house and will not work with other places like COSTCO or Chewy. They will provide a paper prescription that you then have to mail in. Ridiculous. Changing vets.

On New Year's Day, my 13-year-old dog experienced a seizure and was diagnosed with a liver tumor during an urgent vet visit. The vet recommended the Animal Medical Center of Richardson for further information and exams. I promptly scheduled an appointment for the same morning, and everything proceeded seamlessly. Dr. Andrea Hesser was incredibly professional, taking the time to explain the X-rays thoroughly and offering detailed solutions. She showed great understanding of my concerns as a pet parent and handled the situation with utmost professionalism. I deeply appreciated her compassionate approach and expertise during the visit.

I brought my cat Humphrey here today to get an eye issue looked at. They were so wonderful and were able to get me in with incredibly short notice. Everyone was so kind, and Its obvious they really care about your pets here. They treated Humphrey very gently and with the utmost care. Dr. Smith was very knowledgeable and patient, and so was the technician and the front desk staff. I can't recommend this clinic enough, and will continue to trust them with the care of my pets. They're also just super friendly and personable and that really makes a difference. 10/10. Thank y'all for doing what you do!
