Animal Medical Center at Fort Sheridan (vet)

I want to thank all the doctors and staff here for taking such good care of my Steve when he needed it most. Although ultimately it was his time to say goodbye, I feel like the doctors here really, really tried and really cared about Steve (in particular Dr. Stone and Dr Gentry, but we saw all the doctors there!) even though we were brand new patients. I appreciate the sympathy card and I appreciate how much this office truly does care about the animals and families they see. Steve was a treasure and we will miss him so much.

Absolutely no better Veterinarian and group of technicians out there. I have trusted not only Dr. Kordell but his entire staff, including his family, with every animal that has been a part of my family. The tentativeness, care, respect and overall knowledge that Animal Medical Center shows is apparent with every visit, no matter the urgency. I trust Dr. Kordell and his staff so much that I've requested them to MY primary physician but for obvious reasons, they are not able to. It's hard to find people you can trust these days, especially when it comes to the well being of your family, I will put my trust and faith in Animal Medical Center, Dr. Kordell and his staff for the rest of my life. Rating well ABOVE 5 Starts.

The staff, nurses and doctors are so friendly, and supportive. They probe to ensure all your questions have been answered. I appreciated their demeanor with my dog and treats are at the ready if that helps the situation. All treatments are well explained and their facility is comfortable and inviting. I'm happy that I've made them my primary care for my pooch.

It's OK I never got a service I asked for before I left town and also they told me only one pricing for a health certificate. Went from its 69 to 69 plus almost 200. I hate vets like this because they was more concerned to give me a prescription and charge me more rather then helping. Doctor literally talked to me and my son for hours instead of expressing my dog's anal glands. 😒 so annoying specially if I was there to get a certificate because I was moving. I didn't have time for small talk I needed my dogs taken care of and for them to take my dog and do things without asking is weird. Spent over 1000 in the 4 months my dogs was there. I would not recommend.

Dr Kordell is truly one of kind! His knowledge is vast and he alway takes the time to explain everything in great detail. The office staff is very knowledgeable and attentive. It’s a family atmosphere and it is so reassuring to know that our furry baby is taken care of!
