Been training here for over a year now, the trainers are friendly and knowledgeable. My gsd has made great strides thanks to the training. Only downside is that it doesn't take the training far enough. They really could use more options for you once your pooch has the obedience down pat

I went here for training with a difficult dog with limited social skills. I received much more than I could have expected. my dog & I left classes with more confidence & many skills. Awesome trainers went above & beyond to help us in a very difficult situation. My dog was very afraid & lacked confidence & the puppy sport class helped him immensely. We will be back for more training for sure! Thanks Liz.

I regret taking my puppy to the puppy class and a couple beginner obedience classes held here (led by the German Shepherd Dog Club of Mpls & St. Paul). Like others have commented, they strongly recommended a prong collar - for a PUPPY!! And I was dumb enough to believe them when they told me the typical "trainer" BS about it not hurting, it mimics mom dog nipping them, put it on your arm and see... Your forearm is NOT the same as a dog's neck where their thyroid resides. They follow and push so called "balanced" training, which is a load of crap. Following their obedience, I wound up with a reactive dog who was fearful of many things due to the "popping" of the collar - aka ABUSE! I had two German Shepherds before my current one. I have taken numerous dog training classes here and seminars. Including puppy classes, obedience classes, conformation classes and agility. Great instructors and a great place to train!

Large and clean facility! I trained here for Obedience 1. Our trainer coached from the sidelines and rarely entered the arena where we were training. I would have appreciated the trainer walking around the arena and providing individual feedback rather than addressing the entire group on an issue and guessing if me and my dog were the ones she was providing feedback to. A syllabus and weekly homework were not provided in paper handout or email after any class.
