We are from out of town and tried squeezing in one more trip with our old guy when he took a turn for the worst and we knew we couldn’t wait any longer. I am so thankful for the kindness of the entire staff for fitting us in quickly and for making the hardest day of a pet parents life a little easier. And for the continued communications regarding cremation services since we live 5 hours away. We had a kitten from a feral colony join our family as a barn cat. Shortly after we took him on, he ended up breaking his femur 😵‍💫 The staff was soooo nice and so understanding that not everyone has a huge budget. I've definitely had experiences with vets where it feels like your shamed for not having the big bucks to drop on the unexpected. I would highly suggest taking your pet there.

I called Dr Hoagland for an emergency for my dog on Thursday evening… around 7:00 I think. Regardless, he said he would be in at 8:00 am and for me to come then . Obviously, he didn’t care about my dog’s health. I showed up at 8:00 AM at the wrong clinic. I went to Dubois County Animal Hospital and no one was there. I called the same number and a girl said they hadn’t updated the website for the change which is about two years ago. Maybe busy or maybe lazy ? I asked the girl the location and she explained exactly how to get there and I asked if Dr Hoagland was there and she said NO. I asked her to please call him because he said he’d be there to meet me. I went to the South clinic and Bob was still alive but no Dr Hoagland ? I asked the girl to call him again and I think she did but she

Wow, just wow! I have been a resident of Spencer County my whole life and have taken my pets to another vet on the other side of the county for convenience. Last week our lab had an emergency though and Dale was able to accommodate. Dr. Jesse saved my dogs life, no doubt. I have never in my life received such welcoming and positive care for both me and my dog. As a family we have already decided we will be switching our pets to St. Francis for permanent care. The front desk staff is so kind and caring, Miss Rachel even gave my kids a sticker sheet and some paper while we were waiting for our dog. Morning, noon, and night, the staff has been available. We have been made to feel like family at St. Francis and I am beyond grateful for their staff and their care.

The best vet. She cares and takes care of her patients. She has treated too many animals of mine too count. From basics to eye removals and laser therapy for arthritis. She does it all.
