After a good friend highly recommended this place we brought our dog for a check up and to trim his nails. Regardless of the wait we saw the vet, he was polite and good. The biggest issue we encountered was the rude and disrespectful nurse who cut his nails. I suppose she was an experienced, trained nurse but cut them too deeply in various spots, almost all of his nails, to the point my dog started bleeding. I understand it is not an easy task so we mentioned in the beginning that we hold him while she cuts them but from the start she was rude and had a nasty attitude. At some point somehow she cut his skin on his two back legs. She didn’t take what she did to my dog seriously, she completely brushed it off.

Good Vets..... but consistently overbooking. Again we waited for 45 minutes in the exam room. No one came in at all. I had to go to front desk to ask if we should reschedule. Instead of coming in and explaining to us perhaps there was an issue... we sat and waited like idiots! Yet Again! This is a daily occurrence when we come to AH&W. It changed terribly over time. They used to be amazing, now, its all about overbooking. $$ We are done here.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I brought my cat in for one simple thing, a rabies vaccine so I could take her to a groomer. That’s it. But apparently even that was too much for Dr. Jake Labriola, the most dramatic, unprofessional “vet” I’ve ever encountered. The second he walked up to my cat, he acted like my cat was a wild jungle lion. He didn’t even TRY to examine her, didn’t put a stethoscope on her, didn’t get close, nothing. He steps back like she was aggressive and hissing at him, I was standing the SAME distance away as him. So either he’s just paranoid/terrified of cats or he’s hearing ghost neither is a good sign for a veterinarian. Then he decides, without any exam, to start with the rabies shot. He calls in a tech, and she immediately GRABS my cat by the back and neck so

Veterinary services are excellent. My puppers have been going to them for years. They enjoy going and getting a treat. 🐕‍🦺🦮They were excellent when I was on vacation and my son took one to be looked at. They offer a multi pet discount along with a senior discount. I trust Animal Health & Wellness with the care they give my pets.
