Animal Health Care of Marlboro

Great experience bringing our cat to AHC. We were able to get an appointment promptly & the examination room was very cat friendly. The staff, as usual, was warm, inviting, and very informative. Our chunker of a cat is already feeling better.

Please read this before taking your pet to Animal Health Care of Marlboro. This clinic is corporately owned (NVA/JAB Consumer Partners), and my experience suggests they put profits ahead of pets. The Short Version: AHC ran a test on my dog a year ago and told me it was "inconclusive" to pressure me into buying more tests. A new vet just confirmed by looking at AHC's own records that the test was, in fact, POSITIVE from the very beginning. I removed my review a few weeks back after getting a call from AHC explaining - they just do things differently. My takeaway was they are excessively thorough (while overcharging) at the potential detriment of the health a pet. After thinking about it more. My review is back up. I’ve had nothing but great experiences with everyone at this vet office. The veterinarians and vet techs are consistently empathetic, caring, and incredibly kind to my animals, all of whom were understandably scared to be there. We had multiple emergency situations, including a cat with kidney disease and a dog with Addison’s disease, and the team was truly exceptional in how they handled everything. They took the time to guide us through each situation, explain our options, and support us every step of the way, which made a stressful time much more manageable. They are on the pricier side, but considering the level of care, compassion, and expertise they provide, it is absolutely worth it for the wellbeing of my furry loved ones. I’m very grateful for this team.

The new receptionist is cute, but kind of useless. Lol. Dr. Weissman and Ahmed (spelling?) are great people!

I was not a client of the practice. My vet was out of town and my dog was not well. They got me in same day,staff was terrific. Dr. Weissman was very thorough,explained everything and was genuinely nice. I would recommend her and the practice, they have their act together.
