I had a fantastic experience with Dr. G at Animal Cove Pet Hospital! I came in to get a health certificate for my dog so we could fly overseas and return to the US. Dr. G was friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly supportive throughout the entire process. He took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure all the paperwork was done perfectly. When my flight was cancelled and re-booked he understood the situation and was able to get us up to speed with everything needed in super-tight timelines. Traveling with a pet can be stressful, but Dr. G made it easy and worry-free. Highly recommend!

A crazy cat mom’s verdict - Worth it. I adopted my two cats from the SPCA about 10 years ago — TG, I stopped at two! If I knew then what I know now about Bay Area living costs, I might’ve stopped at one 😄. But no regrets. Now well in their senior years, they’re the very definition of emotional support furry family. I literally owe them my life. I’ve known Dr. Gadde for over 5–7 years. Ironically, I found him while looking for a new vet after the former owner of Animal Cove retired — small world. He approaches concerns logically, explains things clearly, shares helpful resources, and encourages questions. Most importantly, he listens. Dr. Dilip Garikipati was helpful enough in securing my senior dog’s USDA-approved veterinary health certificate for export on her first travel abroad. He also made sure I have the certification for US-issued rabies vaccine for our reentry and addressed a couple of issues with my dog as well. We are currently enjoying our much-needed vacation. My heartfelt thanks to Dr. Garikipati and to his staff Lorena, Angie and Jay.

Dr. G showed compassion and patience when we brought our unresponsive cat over to his clinic just before closing time. I feel like every question I asked was answered. The entire staff never rushed us while we grieved and were still in shock that “Kilo” had just unexpectedly passed away before stepping foot in the clinic. Extremely Rude Front Desk Experience I had a very disappointing experience with the front desk staff at Animal Cove. I simply asked twice for the names and prices of the vaccines so I could write them down accurately. Instead of repeating the information politely, the front desk lady snapped at me and said, “I already told you twice, are you listening?” That level of attitude is completely unprofessional and unnecessary. I was just trying to understand the information clearly. Her tone was rude, dismissive, and made me feel very unwelcome. Veterinary visits are already stressful for pet owners—being treated this way is unacceptable. I hope the management addresses this, because this interaction alone made me rethink bringing my pet here.
