This is not a urgent care! They refused to help my 40 pound dog that had been snake bit. Don't waste your time find you a Vet!

Whoever the front desk woman is taking the phone calls is mean and rude. I called wanting advice and she stopped me immediately and shut me down, while I was being nice to her. Just go to a different vet if you can.

If I could leave zero stars I would. The receptionist was extremely rude and acted as if I was some kind of alien when I walked in. I had my Chihuahua in my arms. Something was wrong with his legs. He couldn’t walk. I asked if someone could look at him and she said I didn’t have an appointment so therefore I couldn’t see the vet. No one was even there to be seen yet. They couldn’t look at my dog for five minutes to see what was wrong and why he couldn’t walk . The only thing she did well was giving me the number to the Northport emergency care clinic. They were really nice and they actually care about the well-being of a pet, not if you have an appointment. I still can’t get over the way she was looking at me. How despicable and hateful she was.

Dr. Newton has been our family’s vet for many years now. She is an outstanding vet and a good person! She goes above and beyond and sincerely loves her job. I live right outside of Birmingham and still drive to Fayette for her to see all of my pets. Can’t imagine going anywhere else.

My ten year old Boxer started having seizures out of nowhere and had 6-7 during the night. He slept most of the following day and then around 4:20p.m. started seizing again. Terrified and frantic, I called and they allowed me to bring him right in. I was beside myself with worry, exhaustion and grief. Robert and Dr. Newton were wonderful! She did bloodwork and assessed him for well over an hour. She prescribed medication and gave me direction of what to do next. This is him a week later! Playing, happy, and no seizures so far! I cannot thank them enough for everything they did for me and my baby! We love y'all!
