Love Dr. Pennington and staff. My dog is loved just as much as my children, and I wouldn’t trust another vet with her. I knew Doc was going to be loving and caring with my Aussie the second I saw Dr. Pennington pick my pup up and kiss her right on the head.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would!! Dr. Pennington and her entire staff are absolutely amazing! We have a Labrador Retriever who practically runs you over to get in to the office to see everyone! We also have two dachshund puppies who just got neutered and we had a wonderful experience with that as well! Furthermore, I have 2 cats that we take here as well and they are just as kind and caring to our cats as well! I recommend them to anyone who is searching for a vet due to the kind and caring staff. They are always so excited to see our pups when they come through the door, I will forever love Dr. Pennington and all of her staff, for everything that they do for us and our pups!! :)

Dr. Pennington and crew are amazing! We switched our lab when another vet couldn't get him in for an ear infection for over 2 weeks! As a new client they offered me a same day appointment. Dr. Pennington was the first vet to help me take some extra weight of off our lab by actually teaching me about what he was eating and showing me better options as well as giving me a good calorie goal. He has lost the weight and is like a puppy again (he's almost 9)! When I got my dachshund puppies we took them to Dr. Pennington as well and she has treated them with nothing but love and kindness. The staff is always super helpful and easy to talk to. We recently got the dachshunds neutered and the entire process was as easy as could be. I have been with Butler animal clinic for over 10 years. I started out with them when Doctor Lombardo was the veterinarian, and I was always very happy with him. Since Dr. Pennington has come on, the clinic has steadily declined in quality care, and affordability. My first meeting with Dr. Pennington, her significant other/body guard chased an elderly, distraught woman out of the office who was there to inquire on her deceased pet. He then made remarks on her mental status, appearance, and makeup in front of the entire waiting room. I should have switched then. Over the last 3 years, since my dog developed epilepsy suddenly at SIX YEARS OLD, (conveniently less than a year after Dr. Pennington's suggestion to switch him to nexguard for flea and tick prevention, which she says has NO correla

I have been taking my animals to this clinic for several years, and until recently, we never had any major health issues. Unfortunately, my experience with my senior cat has completely changed my opinion of this practice. I brought my cat in because he was losing weight. I was told he had hyperthyroidism and early signs of kidney disease. They also said his white blood cell count was high and prescribed an antibiotic, which I strongly believe contributed to his death. They noted that he was dehydrated but never offered any treatment or guidance to help get him hydrated. I also expressed concern that he was making a strange noise while eating.
