Animal Care Centers of NYC - Bronx

I'm sure the Bronx Animal Care surrender center has earned it's stars. What annoys me is that they don't keep their hours of operation, or especially closings, up to date. Several occasions I've wasted time going to the fordham center to drop off bedding for any Animals they may have. They were closed due to lack of space at the facilities. This fact was not posted on their site. Trying to reach someone by phone who may have this information is challenging. Thank you, otherwise, for the work that you do.

I rarely leave reviews but this must be said. The staff on Fordham road is phenomenal. My lil Jazzy died, and everyone was extremely kind, warm, thoughtful, and comforting throughout the entire process. I felt like they cared about my dog, and the experience was incredibly solemn, but I did not feel alone. They even suggested a few items on Amazon to help keep his memory alive. I left the office knowing he was in good hands. Thank you.

This is storm.. we went there they're gave her food also a chip. Just in case she's get stolen. This little dog is gizzy.I took the picture while she slept.. Someone gave her to my son. But he's working hours just got out of control. She's 3 or 4 years old.

My love of animals and having their essence and Soul for the last 20 years is essential and priceless and necessary to live even happier while we are here. All my felines have been to the Animal Center throughout these many years. Micro chips, God Bless free cat food sometimes and a place to even adopt. And pick up vital information they provide inside. Thank you for being there for me and my furry boys,🙏🫵we appreciate you forever the entire staff 🎩💯% customer service 💖that gets to work there too! It was great. The staff was professional, helpful and they gave me stuff for my pet that I needed. I will visit them again soon.
