Animal Care Center

Animal Care Center is the place to go! After moving here with a reactive dog, we feared going to the vet. When the time came several months later that our dog needed emergent care, we did a Google search, crossed our fingers, and took her to Animal Care Center. From the beginning, each of their staff were kind and understanding of our situation and got us in impressively quickly after calling and asking for help (both times)! In these small mountain towns, finding vet care, especially in emergent situations and with challenging animals, can be difficult if not near impossible. I feel so grateful to the staff at Animal Care Center, especially Dr. Wendy!

I took my dog to be examined after being in labor for over 24 hours and no babies had arrived long story short she ended up with two massive soars where they gave her two injections Almost 2 months later she’s still not healed. Don’t think I’m almost here. I will never trust this vet again.They couldn’t even tell me what was wrong with her

So, so grateful for Animal Care Center! I moved to the area last November and wanted to get my dog and cat established with a vet in the area. After our first routine vaccine visit with Dr. Wendy we proceeded to later on have a bat exposure “emergency” and then today we had another emergency when my dog ate his dog brother’s medication. Both emergencies Dr. Wendy and her competent team worked us in right away and were very efficient and straight forward with the treatment plan. My dog can be fearful at the vet but they always allow me to be apart of the process which helps to ease some of his stress. Thank you to Dr. Wendy and her vet team for being available and wonderful!!

They only work on cats and dogs and they did a tremendous job with our three dogs so far. They don't push unnecessary medications or procedures and they do a great job gathering the histories of our pups. The vet is patient, friendly and knowledgeable.

Thanks for getting Cricket in so quickly when her usual vet was out of town. I appreciate that you explained tests and treatments in a neutral way and stated your recommendations clearly when asked.
