Animal Advocates

I was on vacation and happened to find Animal Advocates on a Google Maps search. The 2 volunteers inside were beyond wonderful people. The location has 3 rooms which resemble a thrift store selling collectables with outstanding prices. I purchased a volunteer made flat bed as well as a volunteer made cat nip toy for my cat. My cat loved both. I wish I would’ve gotten more for friends cats. I recommend Animal Advocates so very much. I met a wonderful cat named Edgar when I visited. I’m so very grateful to the volunteers for helping the animals, donating their time and energy all while keeping this location so very beautiful inside.

A small thrift store in the Pittsburgh West End that supports cat rescues and adoptions. Store is run by volunteers who are friendly and very caring. Have gotten a few items from them through the years that I have been stopping by. They have the best catnip cat toys, homemade by a volunteer, that my cats love! Stop by and take a look at the items or the store kitty.

A great little place for thrifting. Nice collection of local sports items, nick knacks and other misc items. And frankie is the best cat.

My roommates and I adopted the light of our lives, little Archie, from this rescue! Incredibly kind people with an important mission. Pictures of my cutie are attached!
