Angie's Pet Grooming

Angie does a wonderful job! I took a VERY skittish, and definitely in need of a good grooming morkie that I took in from someone I knew who could no longer keep the dog. She is probably the most anxious dog I have ever personally had contact with. I was afraid of how it would go when I took her to the groomer, but it went BEAUTIFULLY! Angie was so incredibly patient and kind and calm and immediately put Cookie at ease, it was super neat to watch. Not only that, but she does a fantastic job-Cookie looked great! Now, if only it went that well at the vet!!

I first started going to Angie 19 years ago after trying numerous other groomers for my Bichon after I moved to town. After 1 visit I knew I had found my groomer. She made my dog and myself comfortable from the first minute I met her. Angie is a great groomer and an event better person. She is a true professional that cares for all the animals and their owners. She gives helpful tips and is always willing to teach you something that will help you. I have taken 3 dogs to her over the 19 years and have never had 1 complaint. When 2 of my dogs got old (16 & 20 at ages of death) she went the extra mile to make sure they were able to get groomed and be comfortable while doing it. Angie has groomed all three of our Shelties, and is a true professional. She knows and loves dogs—and has the expertise to clean and groom each pet—so they’re “show-ready!” She also offers excellent advice for brushing and training dogs at home. Her salon is spotless and smells wonderful!

She is the best groomer in a 100 mile radius! I have been going to Angie's for around 15 years off and on She groomed our lab koko from the time he was a puppy. She always did an amazing job. Whenever we tried to trim his nails he would wine like you were killing him. But he never wined when Angie did it she has always had a way with animals and truly loves them. We have moved a few times and when we come back to Iowa we go to Angie. We now live in Knoxville which is an hour drive to her place but it is always worth it. I have tried about 5 different groomers closer to me but they all sucked! I literally wasted my money. Angie doesn't do large dogs anymore but still grooms the smaller ones and does an amazing job of it and she is not expensive she charges a flat fee and doesn't try to add

Have been taking Holly to Angie for 9 years. Very professional and grooms her just the way we like her hair. Recommend Angie to anyone looking for a great groomer! We drive from Newton to Oskaloosa to have Holly groomed, she's that good! Very clean facility and such a nice lady.
