Doreen is extremely patient with us humans and our two golden retrievers. We have a 3 yo and 1 yo that have never been formally trained. I was overwhelmed when people would come over or even the Amazon truck coming down the driveway. I had very little control and wanted to get a handle on our dogs right away. After the first session I was amazed at how quickly they picked up the commands we were working on. Each week we all received the proper training tools and focused on a couple of commands. We are now are way more confident and encouraged to keep going. Our dogs are now thriving on daily training. Proper training starts with the owners and we could not be more happy with the guidance we received from Doreen. We would 100% recommend her services at Angel Paw!

Doreen has a true passion for animals. Her patient ways, focus and dedication to training results in wonderful pets. She first trained our beloved Frisco. He was just amazingly well behaved, understanding verbal commands and hand commands—and we could take him anywhere even though he was a large dog. We then asked her to train our rescue pups (brother and sister). They too are beloved members of our family and we always get compliments on how well they behave. We could not have done it without Doreen. They are all large dogs that needed training. It was the best decisions to hire a professional that knew the right techniques for each of the dogs. She shared her firm but loving perspective on raising a puppy and it shifted my approach entirely. What a smart, effective, generous trainer Doreen is. It’s not just that she’s so clearly knowledgeable and experienced, but that she really took the time to understand the interplay between Boo, our pup, and us as his people (we needed training too). And she brings a wonderful balance of firmness and love to the training sessions. Boo is a rescue with a lot of southern hound in him. He’s VERY puppy but Doreen’s approach has worked wonders for all of us. We can’t recommend her highly enough.

Doreen is by far the best Dog Trainer of all time!
