Our dear young horse was colicking and immediately called office . Spoke with his wife Mary who said she would get him the message . After three hours and a couple calls to follow up to see if he was on his way to the barn she didn’t know when he would call back or come by . Mind you we owed this vet zero money so the issue was not an account balance ! We rushed our horse up to Tufts where he underwent colic surgery that evening . They at Tufts were astounded how this vet didn’t respond to colic calls !! Not even a phone call back to the client !! After this surgery we switched to Tufts and received excellent care and more importantly we didn’t wait on this vet a minute longer - our horse would have died . Dr. Anderson is an amazing vet. He is kind, responsive to emergencies, educates his clients without belittling, always a pleasure to see at appointments. He truly enjoys helping others become better horse owners. I cannot recommend him enough!

I felt compelled to counter Ms. Connelly's review of Dr. Anderson, especially given she was arrested recently for animal cruelty and more than 50 animals including a horse were pulled from her property. When choosing an equine vet, remember sole practitioner's are just that "sole". Yes, they will respond to emergency's, but cannot clone themselves. Also, as we love our equines, what one may view as an emergency, clinically may not be an emergency. I've been with Dr. Anderson for a number of years and am happy with him and that's just my two cents opinion folks, take it or leave it. Reviews, remember are subjective and we don't always have viewpoints from both sides of the coin.

Dr Anderson has been my horses vet for many years and has always made himself available when needed. He has gone above and beyond even as a sole practitioner. His diagnostics have been spot on. His office is always available for me to run there and pick up what I need. He is a kind and caring doctor.

After using Dr. Anderson for twenty five years he decided he is too busy to be my horses vet. He last saw them in November for vaccine and exam but now that they are sick and need an emergency vet he decided he is too busy! You may want to reconsider using him since you never know if you'll be the next person bumped out of his practice. He left me horses with NO vet while sick on a weekend. Unreliable and unprofessional.
