Amesbury Animal Hospital

We have been with Amesbury Animal hospital for so many yrs. Starting with our Cats in 1997 and our Border Collie since he was born 13 yrs ago. Before that my parents brought our animals there as well. We love them and honestly so does our dog. He's an old guy now and having some senior issues we are not familiar on how to handle. They are awesome. Any other animals we are lucky enough to live be will go to them as well ❤️🐾

I can't say enough good about Amesbury Animal Hospital. I've taken my pets here for a long time. They are compassionate, knowledgeable, and thorough with their care. I had to bring my O'Malley for a checkup and blood work when he stopped eating and not acting like himself. Still working with AAH to determine what's going on but he has made a turnaround in the meantime. Thank you Amesbury Animal Hospital for your dedication!

I brought our newly adopted cat (Tasha) where all of our cats have had their healthcare, for her first visit. She was a little freaked but they knew just how to handle our little baby ( and a little Churo didn't hurt either. The staff is really nice from check-in to check-out. You can tell they care! Dr. Angela (Durkac) is just wonderful. You can tell when someone cares about people and their pet. I never feel rushed, all questions are answered and they are just really nice people working in a great vet practice. 👍

I would give them less than one star. This clinic ONLY cares about $$$$$$ and not the wellbeing of your animal. I needed a probiotic and they charged me 6x what I could have gotten it on Amazon for. They push for extra unnecessary tests. My female bulldog was so scared (after the tests they pushed for that were unnecessary) the vet came back to the room and randomly said “well she’s not blue anymore and is breathing” then left the room with zero explanation. My dog is not aggressive in anyway and they brought this out of her. Just a side note, this was not her first visit. She has been here for 4 years. After the last appointment we moved to another vet. Don’t waste your money on this place, cause that’s all they care about.

Had an appointment for my sick dog on a day i didn't have my kid. I was very open and vulnerable with the fact I was going to come up short for an appointment money wise, life is very expensive. They couldn't see my dog. I had to wait until I had the money. Sure I understand its a busines, but im a long time customer and local veteren inwhich I thought they built a relationship with my pets. It was very clear that they did not and turned me away. Now my dog's situation has gotten worse. I would of gotten paid within 4 days and they were unwilling to work something out for my pet.
