Always & Furever Osawatomie Shelter

I really like what they do but I tried to go volunteer because I saw they needed help (never been to this location). Drove out there but couldn't figure out where to go there was a gate but it was closed. Tried calling but no one answered sat in my car for 20 min hoping to see someone but never did.

This rescue goes above and beyond their duty when caring for all animals received. The staff cares each Animal with love and compassion. The animals are allowed to run and play each day. Kudos to each volunteer.

Just recently came across this place. Me and my girlfriend were looking at this beautiful palmeranian they jist had gotten, unfortunately someone was already in the process of adoption. They are friendly, a no kill shelter. They don't charge anything at all. They are very careful and strict about who they adopt and foster to. I would recommend this place. Let's keep them in operation! !!!PLEASE DONATE TO THIS WONDERFUL CAUSE!!!

There website said they were open until 7pm . However, they didn't answer the phone or emails. If they weren't able to help they could have at least emailed me and said as much. Instead of ignoring me.

A&F took the Osawatomie pound, a kill shelter, and turned it into a no-kill hope for any dog or cat that finds its way there. They have totally transformed it from a got, smell, dirty (filthy) and neglected facility into a first-class facility where dogs live in comfort, get frequent walks, have plenty of play space and medical care while they wait for their furever home. If you are looking to adopt or just want someplace to support, with your time and/or money, they are more than deserving!
