Alpine Veterinary Care

We take our pets to Alpine Vet Care because it’s close to our home, and overall it is a solid place. That said, Dr. Heidi Hagen truly elevates the entire experience. She is incredibly thorough, patient, and has such a calm, compassionate bedside manner with both animals and their humans. One of our dogs has been in quite a few times since we adopted her, and having a pet with ongoing needs can be really stressful and emotional. We love our critters so much (I cry every time they’re hurt, uncomfortable, or sick), so knowing we can see a doctor we genuinely trust means the world to us. Dr. Hagen never makes us feel rushed or dismissed…she listens, explains things clearly, and helps us feel a little less anxious every time. I told the receptionist our primary vet closed permanently and I had a same day need for my sick cat, but would be happy to continue to recieve care from them going forward. She said she does have same day openings but only for "eatablished" customers. Shame on you for turning down a sick cat and potential life long customer!

Amazing vets! They truly care about your pets and treat them like their own! I brought my toy poodle in with severe symptoms and they very quickly assessed her tummy bug and she got better within 12 hours!

I wanted to give 5 stars but figured I would hold off since we are somewhat new clients still. Up until now there hasn't been anything worth complaining about. Dr. Green is great with my dogs and now, with my newly adopted kitty. She shows a love for the animals and isn't afraid to get hands on (which has been a problem in the past due to the breed bias of other doctors). You can tell she enjoys her job and has compassion for your pets, but she also keeps it professional and respectful. We've always had quick, easy, and friendly visits. If there absolutely had to be one thing about this vet clinic to criticize, it would be the front desk employee's, and vet assistants. Absolutely love the team at Alpine. From routine exams to emergencies to helping us get our furry fam overseas, everyone here has always been great. Our elderly dog, Andes, especially loved her acupuncture sessions with Dr. Heidi. 💛
