We have always had dogs,mostly sporting dogs. We have tried training, usually through pet stores, without much success. Just recently we did something different and rescued a Dutch shepherd. We tried private training this time and went with Alpha Love Dog Training. Without a doubt, the best decision we could have made. They're knowledge of dog training and behavior is exceptional. Amanda and Garrett are both awesome! We took our newest dog to Amanda to help us with training back in January/February. She’s so knowledgeable and our dog loves her. The only problem we had with training is US. We’re still a work in progress. We just recently boarded our dog with them. I think she had a better vacation than we did. You can see clearly that they love what they do!

Alpha Love brings ALL the love to both training and boarding! I have used them as both my dog trainer and as a boarding facility and can highly recommend them for all of your canine needs. Amanda and Garrett treat my dog as if he were theirs, showing him all the love and respect they would give their own pets. They are great listeners and will tailor their training to YOUR dog and YOUR family's needs. They even incorporated our teenaged children into the lessons so the whole family took ownership of our dog's training journey. When it comes to boarding my dog, I look no further (and it's a 45-minute drive for me). My 9 month old standard poodle jumped all over every ONE who would walk through our door. After working with Amanda for just three weeks … wait for it. She didn’t!!! Today, I armed my lunch guests with kibble to broadcast all over the floor when Roxy jumped … she didn’t! She came into the room … and searched the floor for kibble. My guests were at ease and her person (me) was very proud. Amanda has not only helped us with name recognition, focus, place, stay, walking on a loose leash, but helped with our toy poodle who is at home with techniques to aid him with his separation anxiety.
