We had an absolutely amazing experience with Nick and Janine at Alpha Dog K9 Training. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Our 4-month-old puppy, Max, was full of energy and completely distracted by everything, leaves blowing in the wind, squirrels, cats, you name it. Walks were chaotic, and off-leash control felt impossible. Within a short time working with Nick and Janine, Max transformed into a calm, focused, and well-behaved dog who now walks confidently off-leash. Janine and Nick are two amazing people and are an asset to the Dog community of Long Island. We went with five sessions of training. I always was fearful of training my dogs without treats. Rest assured their methods work not one treat was used my beautiful golden retriever listens and she’s so excited for walks and outings, It’s simply amazing. She was a jumper. She was always excited to meet everyone. The breed is like that, but they showed me techniques and little things to guide her to be a great companion and a great addition for my family.
