I can’t say enough good things about Almost Home Pet Resort. The facility is clean, welcoming, and clearly designed with the comfort and safety of the pets in mind. You can tell the staff truly care—they treat every animal like family, not just a booking. A special shoutout to Kevin, the manager, who goes above and beyond. He’s professional, friendly, and genuinely invested in making sure both pets and owners feel at ease. His communication and attention to detail make a huge difference, and it really shows in how smoothly everything runs. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Almost Home Pet Resort to anyone looking for a place they can trust. It’s such a relief knowing your pet is in such great hands.

I felt it was important to leave this review so others can get a true picture of who Kevin is as a breeder and as a person. From the very beginning, Kevin was excellent to work with. His communication was clear, timely, and genuine. He took the time to listen to our needs, answered our questions honestly, and never rushed us during our visit. He made the entire process feel calm, respectful, and pressure-free… something that is rare when working with breeders. Unfortunately, we did have to return the puppy, through absolutely no fault of the dog. Our son did not bond in the way we had hoped, and it was a difficult decision for our family. I can't recommend this place enough. I was able to get my reactive dog, Freya, in at the last second for a weekend stay. She'd never been boarded anywhere before and I was very nervous, but the owner is amazing. He understood her temperament immediately, knew how to handle her anxiety/reactivity and was very communicative about how she was doing, her interactions with other dogs, etc. I brought her back for doggy day care and he even managed to find other dogs that she could get along with and took the time to make sure she had opportunities to socialize and relax. I'll definitely be bringing Freya back.

What a great-looking house. There's so much room for the dogs to run around and play on this property. They even had room for a horse out front! Kevin is such a nice guy. I'm happy to recommend this place.
