While we were there, all was well, and the doctors seemed to know what was going on. My larger dog ate a tick and flee collar, and per ASPCA poison control, we took him into the emergency vets due to symptoms. Upon x-rays, they induced vomiting and were able to get a small piece of the collar out. Though, they did not xray my pup after. They sent him home for mentoring. 1 1/2 days later, my dog has complete neurological issues. He couldn't get off the couch or walk up and down our 2 step porch. We ended up re-calling poison control as well as taking him up to the Annapolis emergency vets. They found 10inches of the collar in my dogs stomach. And only a small piece passed into this Colan. We spent $600 at the Huntingtown hospital now to repeat the same process at Annapolis for pieces misse

Great service, open 24hrs, friendly staff, wonderful vets, and all at very reasonable prices. My dog got his nail caught in our deck and needed immediate vet attention. I called them and gave our basic info so they'd know what to expect. They took him back as soon as we got there, checked him out, and told me what the plan was. By the time I had done checkout, he was taken care off with meds and a cone. Total visit lasted less than an hour. So good to know they are there if we need them!

Although I hated the reason why we had to go to APVES, the staff and vets were amazing. They took care of our dog, were kind and professional, called us with updates and answered our panicked questions when we called. When it was time to decide how to move forward, they helped us make a decision that was best for our dog, and reassured us that it was the right one. When we had to say goodbye to our sweet boy, they made a comfortable room for us to be with him for as long as we wanted, and again reassured us that this was the right thing. I hope I never need to go to an emergency vet again, but if I do, it will definitely be APVES.

I was a very worried new cat mother. He had diarrhea for days and couldn't get an appt with my regular vet. I called for info and spoke to Barbara who was so sweet and helpful. I took Dave the cat in and he was seen pretty fast. He was given an extentsive exam. Because of covid I had to wait in my car. I understood their concerns and didn't mind. The doctor called me and assured me he would be fine. We started the meds and the next day he was better. A lot of vets (including my regular vet) do not consider diarrhea an emergency. They totally relieved my mind . Dave and I think allied partners are wonderful.

Our dog was bitten by something (we suspected snake) at 7:30 on a Monday. Our regular vet was closed but said in case of emergency, call Allied Partners. I did, and the woman on the phone was calm, kind and reassuring. We are in St. Mary's County-nearly 50 minutes away-and my husband rushed our dog Lilly there. Once in, she was seen quickly. The staff was exceptionally kind and caring and Dr. Huwe made sure to be upfront about charges as everyone worries about 'emergency' services. (We sure did). We could NOT have been more pleased with the service, the care, the recommendations and the PRICE. We walked out of there with bloodwork done, an exam, medicine that was administered and medicine that was prescribed for pain for SO MUCH LESS than I expected!!! She WAS bitten by a copperhead, an
