I really like these Veterinarians. They provide great care for my dog and two cats and give thorough exams. I like that they check for things they can see before ordering a bunch of expensive tests. I’ve used them since I moved to Anchorage and am happy to continue. They even came in on a Sunday for me too.

Whenever I make the mistake to go to the ER with my pet, this place gives me better alternatives for a way better price. Just had my chihuahua's dental, and Dr. Julie was so kind. She sent us away with antibiotics BEFORE doing the treatment. I appreciated the caution as my little one is 10. We had lots of extractions. The bill of about $1000.00 was more reasonable than anywhere in town, and the staff were all really kind to us!

I don’t know how this place is still in business, they get away with malpractice! I would not recommend anyone to bring their beloved pet here. I brought my toy mini schnauzer here to get a spay and dental surgery done, she came home with what looked like an injured nose. We took her back in and I was told by Dr. Grohs that it was his technician who had the heating pad on too hot. It took 3 weeks for her nose to scab and fall off, eventually the whole nasal planum came off. She also had burns on her body. I also got a second opinion about my dog and her burned nose, I was told that there was no way to prevent her nose from falling off because of how it was burned. Do not bring your pet here!

These people are amazing! Very affordable, quick, and friendly. Talked with 2 other clinics that wouldn’t give me a rough estimate and were more than a month out before a friend referred me this practice. After speaking with them they gave me a price range and had my dog on the schedule for surgery quickly and without any hassle. Staff was very friendly and professional the entire time. Couldn’t have gone more seamlessly.

This vet by far is the best we have been to and we’ve been to a lot over the years. Doctor Joe is a very experienced vet and it shows. Pros are they can usually work you in the schedule and they don’t give responsible breeders a hard time like some other vets. Well worth the drive to chugiak for our vet care needs!
