Please refer to Mason Smiths one star review, as follows, as I am in complete agreement with EVERY word. Quoted: "This place is a joke and on a power trip. Don't give them your time or money or donations. Going to a breeder is not only much easier, you actually get to adopt an animal. After reading the reviews, it is clear these people are not living in reality. They are preachy, condescending, and plain wrong. People like you give Adoption centers a bad name. I really hope this place closes and these animals desperate for a loving home are then allowed true happiness with their forever home. Also, a note to the owner and staff: Don't complain and gripe when animals are not being adopted. They are not being adopted because you make the process harder and more ridiculous then it needs to

Our experience was really good from start to finish. All done within one week and we love our puppy greatly.

The staff at AHeinz57 are friendly and quick to work with. AHeinz takes the time to find each pet the perfect home, which is so important and promising to ensure that all pets have the opportunity for the best future. They ensure that the safety of each pet will be met by preforming home visits and verifying veterinary records. Additionally, the foster parents are just as great to work with. Shannon worked with our schedule, so that we could come see the puppies. She is the absolute, most polite individual. You can tell that she has an immense amount of love for the dogs she fosters. I am so grateful for her kindness and love to these animals as it has allowed us to adopt the most precious puppy!! It wouldn’t have been possible without Shannon and the staff at AHeinz!!! Great rescue that goes out of their way to help dogs in need! Their willingness to go above and beyond for dogs that have medical needs, despite the cost ,speaks volumes. We rescued our dog, Winston (FKA Taco), from them last summer and from the moment we met him, we could tell that this is a rescue that really cares for their animals and makes decisions based off what’s best for each pet and not just what’s convenient. The adoption process is thorough but for good reason.
