AAO saved our beautiful (now foster fail) Genesee who was discarded on the streets after serving her purpose of a puppy machine for several years. I have personally met and photographed over 50 of AAO's pups over the last 5 years. These dogs are adored, happy and will live the rest of their lives knowing they are safe and loved. The pups at the sanctuary have been failed by so many humans and this place is one that will not let them down, that will fight for what is right and will guarantee that their last chapters are humane, secure and full of compassion and comfort. I would recommend this organization to anyone that needs a safe place for a pup in a bad situation, facing death or simply needs a new home as they work with all situations and so much more!

AAO where do I begin. This amazing organization does so much for unwanted often wrongfully convicted animals get a second chance at life. They go above and beyond to take the absolute best care of all their animals. I’m blessed to have foster failed a dog with them. They truly go out of their way to help anyone in need. You will not be disappointed if you ever need the services they offer. You should join many of the events they hold to help raise funds for the sanctuary and to educate and bring awareness to a community that so desperately needs. Truly wish every town had an AAO.

The amount of care, compassion and dedication that is shown to the animals that come into the rescue is truly amazing. The support that is given to foster and adoptive families is everlasting and we are so thankful for the knowledge, support and true love that we received. Without AAO so many misunderstood animals would not have a place and would not be able to teach us what it means to be rescued. Anyone who does not understand and support their cause is truly missing out on life and should take time to become educated and maybe even loved by one of the animals at AAO!

This amazing rescue goes above and beyond in every way for their dogs! Matt has dedicated his life to the rescue dogs & community. He deserves nothing but respect & to be left alone by the Town Supervisor who in my opinion is just harassing him at this point. Who tries to make it illegal for dogs to bark and dogs to be taken out of their kennels on rescue property?!?! Remember you were voted in Ellen you can be voted out too. Respect those doing good things in your community like this rescue!!!
