Good points about this place but their policies suck. We have a dog that's pretty old came in to test for cushings. They refuse to give us the test results for 2 weeks because they required us to hear it from the doctor who did the test. How much time does this dog have that it has to suffer for 2 weeks so that they can have the right person tell us yes or no on the test?

Affordable kind care. They always share an estimate beforehand and explain what is required and what is nice to have. No pressure service.

Corporate and cold. It’s all about the money not your pet. I called to get a prescription dog food refilled but only needed one more bag because my dog was going to be euthanized within the week. They told me I would have to bring her in for her yearly exam. I was horrified, why would they need to do an exam for maybe 7 days more life? She was 17 years old with existing conditions so they knew she was at the end of her life. Do not take your pet there , I can go on and on about this place. Just a note: they did refill the prescription but only after arguing with them.

I can’t even say enough about affordable pet care. We have 3 dogs and we have been using them for about 4 years now and our animals receive the absolute best care from everyone. We see Dr Cody, Dr Cook and Dr Wendy, they are amazing. Dr Cook was so unbelievably compassionate when our cat was diagnosed with cancer. She had to be put to rest and Dr Cook was so amazing with us. He fit us into his schedule many times to see Nubbs and then when she had to be put to rest he was just come in now and he saw us immediately. She was so sick and declined so quickly, even though we did not have an appointment he sat with us and talked us through every step and took all the time we needed he will forever hold a special spot in my heart for how he treated my son and I. They are the best, we drive from Port Townsend and it's worth it. They've spayed/neutered ours and our families pets for years and I couldn't be happier. The vets and other employees are kind and patient, they answer questions thoroughly and provide options for treatment as well as giving honest recommendations and outcome possibilities for each. My pets have always been calm in their clinic and they seem to genuinely care and want what's best for our fur babies while taking our needs and budget into consideration. I trust them completely
