I can’t say enough good things about Advanced Veterinary Surgery! From start to finish, the care my 8-year-old dog, Salem, received was absolutely outstanding. Dr. T and his team explained every step of the process clearly, from consult to post-op. All communication was excellent, and I always felt my pup was in the best hands. Now, her knee is better than ever! Salem is running, playing, and her gait is just beautiful to watch. Dr. T demonstrated exceptional technical skill and an impressive eye for detail, ensuring a smooth procedure and flawless recovery. Durango is SO fortunate to have this clinic. Dr. T is an outstanding veterinarian, and I’m so grateful for the care he provided for my dog. I've taken two Parson Russell Terriers to Dr. Trousdale and I am extremely impressed with the level of care and professionalism provided. From the moment we walked in, the staff was welcoming and friendly. Dr. T was incredibly thorough during their examinations, taking the time to answer all of my questions. The veterinary technicians were equally wonderful and it was evident that the entire team is genuinely passionate about providing the best care for animals. We were referred to Dr. Trousdale for our Bernese Mountain Dog mix, Romeo, who was 10 at the time, for a tumor. Dr. T and his team were incredibly thorough during their exam, answered all our questions, and helped us make an educated decision for our sweet Romeo. We decided to trust Dr. T to take Romeo into surgery to remove the mass. He was able to resect the tumor (which was in the middle of his intestines) and reattach Romeo’s intestines with no issues. My family is incredibly grateful for Dr. T and his team for giving our boy a new lease on life!! We are now coming up on 4 months post surgery and got to celebrate Romeo’s 11th birthday! Dr. T was incredible with our pup Chuy. We were referred by our local vet after x-rays didn't pinpoint the problem. She thought that a CT would be helpful. After over an hour with Dr. T (he sat on the floor with Chuy until Chuy felt comfortable approaching him), and a thorough exam, he agreed he couldn't pinpoint anything specific. He didn't think a CT was warranted at this time (and pointed out that $2k is a lot of $$ to spend when you're not even sure what you're looking for.) When have you ever met a vet that recommended against something you were willing to pay for ??? So we came up with a plan I am comfortable with.
