Dr. Philpott examined my little 2 pound puppy. She was excellent with my little one and did a great job at answering all my questions. The staff was equally kind and informative. I appreciate the care my pup and I received and would definitely recommend Acequia!

I have been trying to find a good vet for YEARS, this place takes the cake. I have bounced around all throughout Rio Rancho, Albuquerque, and even Los Lunas, around 7 vets total throughout the past two years trying to find a good place for my babies to go. Not only was my experience at other vets ‘average’, my babies and I were always left with bad experiences one way or another. I have many many pets, and am very picky with their care, I can’t tell you how relieved I was to finally have found this place. I worked with Dr Stephanie when I came in last week and the entire experience was so lovely. Very clean facility and very nice staff, I brought in my 12 week old puppy for his first check up and booster shot and was impressed with the way the technician and the Doctor explained everything and answered all my questions, I even got a friendly Hug from Dr. Susan when my pup and I were leaving! I’m highly recommend Acequia Animal Hospital! I recently adopted a dog with some heath issues, so I’ve been in several times already. They have been amazing in every way, and their team has been so professional and supportive. Their prices are pretty average in my experience, and they even offer a free first exam.

We started going with our brand new puppy which, she's a cute puppy every one loves her. Our biggest victory was our 3yro nervous cattle mix. She's had bad experience with another vet and now is very fearful. The staff here has gone above to make her visits wins. I never NEVER thought I'd see my nervous baby be ok with someone else petting her. This staff is amazing and thank you so much.
