Abilene Animal Services Adoption Center

They have been so much help with the TNR program. I have been able to get quite a few of the community cats fixed. It is so nice to walk out my door and see healthy neighborhood cats that look scraggly just a few months ago looking chunky and healthy. My area used to be filled with a bunch of mothers and their kittens. I haven't seen a pregnant cat or kittens in quite awhile. No cat fights or other loud screeching noises in the middle of the night. I would highly recommend the TNR program and the ladies in the Community Cat Program. They truly love cats and want to do what is best for both cats and humans they help.

Such a friendly staff. I liked that the staff gave us direction for the animals we were looking at and gave us free reign to check out the animals. Turns out, we ended up adopting a dog that we didn't intend to look at initially! I appreciated most their willingness and ability to talk with you through what they have observed in the animals temperament. I appreciated knowing that the animals were well kept in their living quarters. We had a small hiccup shortly after we adopted our beauty and the staff was very attentive, apologetic for the oversight, and resolved the issue quickly for us. My experience was awesome here and I would certainly recommend it to anyone if they're looking for to adopt/foster an animal.

Thanks to someone (employer or volunteer) posting weekly the new arrivals I may have never have found my Roxy. She had been stolen back at Thanksgiving time. I watched so many face book groups that waiting hoping that she would be her hyper self and escape. I had almost given up on ever finding her and then there she was. A little rough around the edges and alot worn out from her adventures. And now safe a sound back home .as for who stole her and dumped her? Who knows but shame on you! What's meant to be will be. I didn't call for pet adoption services. I did call for a voucher for a cat spay. It was easy, we went to the shelter, filled out some paperwork, paid for our voucher, then made an appt with Abilene Vet Clinic and had it done! We appreciate the shelter and what they do for our city. We've adopted one of our animals, and we frequently visit the animals there!
