A Precious Pet Resort

We have been taking our dog to A Precious Pet Resort for a few years now. I finally got around to writing this review. I am so happy when to have found this kennel. I was getting upset with a previous kennel when our dog smelled awful after we picked her up and the owner made me feel like she was doing you me favor by boarding my dog there. She could be very rude sometimes. The last straw came when I picked her up and she was limping. After checking her out when I got home, we found that her paws were really red. I called the kennel to find out what may have caused it, and they weren't sure but maybe she was sensitive to the cleaning solution for the kennels. I was not happy. Precious Pet is a great place. Have had our dog go there for both boarding and daycare. The staff are great, prices are reasonable, and our pooch always seems happy to go there! When he boards there, they always take care to give him his meds each day. He can be a little high-maintenance, and they take great care of him. They also have done a great job on nail trims when needed. Highly recommended!!

Our furbaby, has been going to A Precious Pet Resort (APPR) since he was 9 1/2 weeks old. Our pup is a cautious boy and was unsure of the staff at first, but we introduced him to Mary and her team a few times prior to dropping him off for 5-days a week doggie daycare. Our pup is now 5 1/2 years old and LOVES going to APPR. Although we now live 30 minutes away, we still take him to APPR whenever we need someone to care for him if we are going to be away for a few hours or a week. We attempted a different place when I changed jobs a few years ago to save on my commute for daycare drop off, but our pup did not adjust to this new place well. He was scared and did not respond well to the pet caregivers. The new place operated under a "dog park" mentality and all the dogs were grouped together
