A New Leash on Life Cove Thrift Boutique & Lifesaving Center

This is one of my favorite spots to support through thrift shopping. They have such kind and helpful volunteers and the shop is always very organized. The adoption center is also filled with caring, warm volunteers who are happy to walk you through the building or set up meetings with potential adoptions. We found our dog through here and over the course of a weekend we visited 2-3 times to meet with our pup before taking her home. They made it feel like an easy process. My only qualm is the prices at the thrift shop, they can be a little on the steeper side so it is definitely a shop that focuses on receiving money for their organization rather than equipping affordable options- and thats ok!!

This was my first time visiting this location. To be honest it was a little different from most consignment shops or thrift stores I've been to. They had a lot of unique things not to mention a little bit of everything. I mainly went here to look at the men's clothes selection that they had and to be honest I wasn't really impressed as they did not have much to choose from. But they did however have a lot of small household items, as well as holiday items and jewelry. A lot of there clothing was fairly priced unless is was specifically priced otherwise as well as everything else I looked at. It could have been a little more organized and not as cluttered as it was but overall I really liked this place and the staff was very friendly. Cannot rate high enough stars! The ease of adopting exceeded all my expectations. My husband and I were interested in adopting a cat. He's had cats before but I am not that familiar with cats. The wonderful woman we spoke to Cindy, was so informative and welcoming. The environment was so clean, and all the cats seem to be very healthy! I was impressed at how thorough the vet checks are and the lengths these people go through to truly make sure all the pets have the best shot at getting adopted. They include more shots and checks for sicknesses in both cats and dogs then I have ever seen at any shelter. We ended up not only adopting a cat, but we also ended up with the sweetest puppy too!
