A Little R&R Animal Sanctuary

We adopted Soup and Sandwich from R&R this April. The process was thorough, but it was really to make sure that we would care for the kittens. The team at R&R were so kind and very understanding. My partner and I are in our mid 30's without kids and both currently going back to school, so we're not the most traditional style family adopting pets, but I never felt judged during the vetting process. While looking to adopt a pet years ago, I remember hearing things like "We would prefer a home with kids," so it was really nice that I never felt that with them. Once we got our paperwork through and references checked, we had to wait a few more weeks for the kittens to be fixed before we could take them home, but the foster family was so nice and would let us come visit the kittens a couple tim

My partner and I lost our sweet Tubbs at the beginning of 2023. We decided that in order to aid in our healing journey, it would make sense to adopt a new kitten into our lives. We reached out to several different agencies over the course of a few months. Several of them wanted to know really (I mean really) personal information about us, or didn't update their pages once an adoption had been finalized. We were starting to feel a little down in the dumps about the whole process when my partner discovered A Little R&R Animal Sanctuary. One morning he saw the kittens and started the process to adopt. A Little R&R was AMAZING to work with. We adopted 2 wonderful kittens from them. The kittens that we chose were in separate foster homes, once our son chose the kittens he wanted they moved the kittens into the same foster home so they could bond before coming home with us. The adoption process was very smooth and everyone was great to work with. We would highly recommend them, if you are looking to adopt some amazing kittens.

Absolutely amazing organization. I was in the market for 2 kittens and applied online. They reached out to me for a video chat/home tour. Once that was done my references were checked. Neither of these steps were invasive or asking alot. They just want to make sure these adorable kittens are going to a safe stable home. I cannot fault them for that. Lastly I was put in touch with the foster family who would send me pics and videos all the time. Just had to wait until they were old enough to get fixed and then I could eventually pick them up. I'm putting this review out here because if I could I would recommend them to anyone getting a kitten. Adopted Ish, formerly Buttercream, from the rescue and couldn’t have been happier. I was given the chance to meet him before he was ready for adoption. I was also given pictures and updates up until adoption day. His foster was always available for any questions as this was my first puppy adoption.
