A Dog's Life Camp and Spa

Stephanie has been absolutely amazing for helping train both us and our rescue, Elsie! We had initially sent Elsie for boarding but chose to have Elsie do a board and train in the Summer. Elsie would pull and have a hard time listening while on walks. As you can imagine, negotiating with a dog isn’t easy and can be a frustrating experience. We saw such a change after those three weeks! She follows commands better, checks in with us on walks and has a reliable recall. Elsie loves heading to camp and playing in her playgroup. She has the best time at Stephanie’s!

Stephanie has been amazing to work with all of Pongo's and I's training needs. Her quick response to schedule a time and great availability has allowed us to find the best in Pongo. She is patient and really breaks down the steps into manageable lessons that both Pongo and I could learn and really grow. Boarding is also a breeze and he gets excited as we get closer to camp. I would highly recommend Stephanie and her staff to anyone looking for dog training or boarding needs!

My pups have been going to A Dog's Life for a couple of years. Best boarding we've ever had. They always have a great time and I love the pics of them running and playing. Sometimes. I worry they won't want to come home! But they are always happy and freshly bathed when they arrive. It truly is a vacation for them and I can relax knowing they are in great hands.

I'm so happy we took our pup to Carla's training camp! She and Stephanie did an amazing job at training our overexcited 6 months old puppy to walk like a champ! That was our biggest concern, as we were transferring him from the quiet of countryside to the madness of Brooklyn, NY. Before camp, he was WILD on the leash. We were desperate and worried for his safety. He knew a few basic commands but only did what he likes. Carla and Stephanie taught our pup to listen and to respond to vital commands, all while being in a super fun environment.
