A Bestfriend's Getaway

I’m not one to make reviews but I want to take a moment to share how highly I recommend A Bestfriend‘s Getaway dog boarding because it was above and beyond what I imagined! Nicole, the owner, helped us VERY last minute as our boarding plans fell through, the day before leaving for 6 nights for a wedding. I’m very cautious and nervous when it comes to leaving my dog somewhere as she has seizures when extremely anxious and scared, and has medication that’s required twice a day. I wanted her to be somewhere where she wouldn’t be crated all day, every day with no attention and just let out of 5-10 minutes twice a day, as my dog is never in a crate at home. This was the first time Archer and Charlotte have been to a doggie daycare. They had such a wonderful experience with Nicole. She was so accommodating as we had to drop them off an hour earlier than planned. She sent pics of our dogs throughout the day. Our dogs were able to free run as well as go for walks multiple times on a leash. They even got to get cuddles from her children and play with them after school. I highly recommend taking your fur babies Nicole and her amazing establishment. They were spoiled with love all day!

My dog has separation anxiety and Nicole made sure to give her lots of love and attention. Sending me pics helped me relax and enjoy my getaway knowing my dog was happy. Highly recommend

Highly recommend! Let me start by saying that I absolutely dread when I have to board my dog. I stress and worry about her but Nicole made both me and my dog Harley feel so comfortable! Nicole even let Harley come over for a half day before we boarded her so she would be more comfortable having met Nicole and visited A Bestfriend's Getaway beforehand. This definitely made a difference as when we dropped Harley off for boarding, she practically jumped into Nicole's arms! Nicole also sent us updates and let us know how Harley was doing which was very reassuring. You can tell Nicole really cares for the dogs she cares for, I highly recommend!

Nicole is amazing! I felt so comfortable leaving my dogs with her. She kept me updated and sent me pictures. I definitely recommend and will be boarding my dogs here again!
