I scheduled my first dog-training session a week ago. The main trainer, Jen, was unavailable, so she sent her assistant (also named Jen). She came in and spent some time talking about our dogs, which was fine, but the actual training was poorly handled. She began training my 9-week-old puppy directly in front of my two older dogs, feeding her treats on the other side of a gate. This made my other dogs extremely jealous and anxious. She never suggested moving to a different room, the front or backyard, or using a leash or collar. My puppy already knows how to sit, yet she repeatedly said “yes” and gave treats while my other two dogs grew more upset. After she left, all three of my dogs were agitated and bickering with each other, something that normally never happens. It took a long time

We had our second session with Jen tonight, and we are so happy that we found her! The way she treats our highly reactive GSD, her personality, and easy way about things is exactly what we were looking for and hoping for! We can't wait to see how she helps us as dog owners, since we're the ones who need the training!

We have a 2 year old lab that is really very good but when we go for a walk, the pulling on the leash was really getting aggravating. I reached out to Jennifer for help with him and I loved our private session! She met with us and the first thing she did was get to know our pup and asked questions about his behavior and habits. I felt like she genuinely wanted to know him and the areas we needed help with. We’re a family of 3, my husband, my 7 year old daughter, and me, and I wanted us all involved with the trainer session. I appreciated Jennifer’s approach, she showed us the technique for helping get our dog to follow us, then had me, then my daughter, then my husband, all take a turn and gave guidance and feedback! I love our session!!

I can’t begin to post how amazing Jen is. I adopted a pitbull that had separation anxiety and destructive behavior. I was to the point of crying. Jen showed me how to approach things more calmly and make her crate (heavy duty one) a not so scary experience. I can now leave her alone outside of her crate with no issues. I could not have done this without Jen.
